Today I was lucky enough to receive a box of Quality Streets as a thank you for taking a friend’s son to a Birthday party.
While enjoying these I was checking all the latest news headlines online and learnt that the Copenhagen Summit had pretty much been pointless as all the major players had only made a note of the deal but had stopped short of formally adopting it. So all the CO2 these heads of state have burnt over the last week trying to thrash as been a waste, because as far as I can see they have all good home basically saying “yep, doing something is a good idea, but we don’t have to….yet.”
So when I saw the following guidelines on the side of box of Quality Streets: -

I wondered is there really any point in following them when the worlds leaders seem to be either unable or unwilling to come to a legally binding agreement. I think I might stop washing out those jam jars to. What do you do, are you recycler?
